Tow
Tank Testing
The towing tank is 100 ft long and 3 ft wide with a
fully instrumented carriage. Besides carrying out small model
tests the towing tank is of great value for our Naval Architecture
and ME programs. The tank can accommodate models as long as 65 ft
and supports semi-planning and full-planning hulls. The
collected data aids in hull optimization as well as power, speed and
trim predictions.
